Workshop - Identifying Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings
The International Organization for Migration, Office in Romania, together with the National Agency Against Trafficking in Persons, hosted a workshop regarding tools for identification of victims of trafficking in human beings.
Representatives of the local police in all the districts in Bucharest had the opportunity to discuss together with specialists in the field, focusing on the National Identification and Refferal Mechanism, aiming at strengthening the cooperation between the potential involved actors.
The second part of the day was dedicated on involving the participants in challenging study cases.
This workshop was financed through the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Programme, as part of the Tandem with NGOs for Support Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings (TaNGO) project. The partners of the project are: ADPARE Bucharest, People2People Foundation Oradea and Micu Bogdan Foundation Brasov.
