IOM Romania hands over 15 vehicles to Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs
On 28 April 2023, IOM Romania handed over 15 minibuses to the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The vehicles will be used by different branches of the Ministry, including the Department for Emergency Situations (DSU), to support the safe and dignified transport of refugees, migrants, and local communities all over Romania as part of the Ukraine Response, as well as to develop the resilience and capacities of the Romanian Government to respond to any future incidents or crises.
These vehicles were procured by IOM Romania thanks to the kind support from the United States of America and the Republic of Korea.

OIM România oferă Ministerului Afacerilor Interne 15 vehicule de transport
Pe data de 28 aprilie, OIM România a predat Ministerului Afacerilor Interne 15 microbuze.
Vehiculele vor fi utilizate de diferite departamente ale Ministerului, inclusiv Departamentul pentru Situații de Urgență, pentru a oferi transportarea în siguranță a refugiaților, migranților si ale altor membri ai comunităților locale din România, ca parte a programului pentru refugiații ucraineni, precum și pentru dezvoltarea capacității Guvernului României de a răspunde viitoarelor incidente sau crize.
Aceste mijloace de transport au fost achiziționate de OIM România, cu sprijinul Statelor Unite ale Americii si Republicii Coreea.
